Waaree Energies shares gained 1.71% to ₹2,541.80 during Tuesday’s trading session after the company announced a 2 GW solar module supply order from a leading domestic solar developer. The order was received on September 21, 2026, with deliveries scheduled across FY27 and FY28. According to the company’s exchange filing, the contract is a one-time order, while its commercial value has not been disclosed. Waaree Energies also clarified that neither its promoter group nor its group companies have any interest in the customer, and the transaction does not qualify as a related-party transaction. The order adds to the company’s order visibility as demand for solar modules and renewable-energy infrastructure continues to expand in India. Waaree Energies has a market capitalisation of around ₹72,747 crore. Its shares are down around 6% over the past month and nearly 26% over the past year, according to the data provided.
