S&P Global Energy to Bring 200+ Leaders Together for India’s Clean Energy Push.

Industry leaders to discuss scaling hydrogen, renewables and the wider clean-energy economy.

S&P Global Energy will host Horizons Clean Energy Expansion India 2026 on September 24–25 in New Delhi, bringing together more than 200 policymakers, industry leaders and clean-energy experts. The event will examine practical strategies for accelerating India’s clean-energy transition. The conference, previously known as World Hydrogen India, has expanded its focus beyond hydrogen to cover the growing connections between renewable power, green hydrogen, industrial decarbonisation, infrastructure, shipping, mobility, manufacturing, investment and international trade. Green hydrogen remains a key area of focus. As of February 2026, around 8,000 metric tonnes per year of green hydrogen production capacity had been commissioned in India, compared with the country’s target of 5 million tonnes per year by 2030. The two-day event is expected to provide a platform for discussions on investment, technology, infrastructure and policy needed to scale India’s emerging clean-energy ecosystem and support its broader energy-transition ambitions.
