NTPC-linked project strengthens Pace Digitek’s position across the battery energy storage value chain.

Pace Digitek shares surged 13.2% to ₹175.37 on Tuesday after its material subsidiary, Lineage Power Private Limited (LPPL), secured a ₹488.46-crore Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) order from NTPC GE Power Services for the Barh Super Thermal Power Project in Bihar. The contract covers the supply, testing, erection supervision and commissioning of BESS containers, along with Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS). It also includes five years of annual maintenance services and a seven-year extended warranty for battery containers. The project is scheduled for completion by December 31, 2026. Pace Digitek said its BESS manufacturing capacity has expanded from 2.5 GWh in 2025 to 5 GWh, with plans to reach 10 GWh by Q3 FY2027. The company has delivered BESS containers representing more than 1.5 GWh of capacity and is also exploring commercial and industrial applications.
