Villa Euphoria: Twin Villas Blend Traditional Charm with Contemporary Sophistication
Villa Euphoria is a thoughtfully designed twin-villas hospitality retreat that combines traditional architectural charm with contemporary sophistication, creating a serene and immersive guest experience in Gujarat. Designed by Shivay Associates, the project is located in Kevadiya and showcases a Mediterranean-inspired design language rooted in comfort, functionality, and timeless elegance.
The resort is organized around a lush central courtyard, creating a strong sense of openness and community while preserving guest privacy. Soft beige façades, arched verandas, and warm ambient lighting establish a calm and inviting atmosphere, reflecting the visual serenity often associated with Mediterranean architecture.
At the heart of the project lies a seamless indoor-outdoor connection. A centrally positioned swimming pool acts as both a visual centerpiece and a social anchor, around which the twin villas are arranged. Poolside lounging spaces, tropical landscaping, and shaded walkways contribute to a tranquil resort experience while maintaining strong visual connectivity across the site.
Architecturally, Villa Euphoria adopts low-rise, human-scaled massing with sloped roofs, textured plaster finishes, and repetitive arched openings that create a timeless architectural identity. Pergolas and green corridors introduce movement and rhythm across the landscape, guiding circulation while framing curated views.
Inside, the interiors focus on understated elegance and comfort. Reception and common spaces feature sculpted ceilings, warm lighting, and bespoke furniture to create a welcoming environment. Guest rooms are designed with soft colour palettes, patterned flooring, and natural materials to provide a refined yet cozy hospitality experience.
A major strength of the project is its efficient space planning. Spread across approximately 25,000 sq ft, the resort accommodates 36 guest rooms using compact modular layouts arranged along landscaped courtyards and circulation corridors. This planning strategy ensures optimal density while preserving openness and visual breathing spaces.
Parking and recreational zones are strategically placed along the site periphery, allowing the central core to remain dedicated to guest-focused experiences. This planning approach enhances the resort-like atmosphere despite the compact footprint.
Materiality defines the resort’s visual identity through a restrained palette of greige textured plaster, warm timber finishes, wood-finish metal detailing, and stone-paved pathways. Lush green lawns and tropical planting soften the built form, reinforcing the resort’s connection to nature.
Designed under the leadership of principal architects Chirag Chauhan and Milan Gandhi, Villa Euphoria stands as an example of hospitality architecture where aesthetics, functionality, and spatial efficiency merge to create a timeless and memorable stay experience.
