Moon House, Siolim, Goa – A Luxury Crescent Pool Home

The Moon House, located in Siolim, Goa, is part of a trilogy of luxury homes within the Sioul masterplan. Inspired by the sensuous curves and raw textures of the lunar landscape, the house reflects the moon’s essence through its crescent pool, curved forms, and textured slate stone walls.

Designed by SAV Architecture + Design, the layout is inward looking, with a crescent pool forming the central feature that divides the home into living spaces on one side and bedrooms on the other, connected by semi-open louvered walkways. The design creates a seamless inside-outside living experience, blending tropical modernism with fluid architectural lines.

The double-height living space features a handcrafted lunar crater wall, while the open kitchen incorporates Goan-Portuguese patterned tiles and local granite. The use of exposed concrete, slate stone, Kota stone floors, and perforated screens ensures natural cooling and ventilation in Goa’s tropical climate.

Highlights include the master bedroom with a monolithic sunlit bath, a louvered bridge across the pool, and a private moon observatory terrace with a concrete circular bed – perfect for stargazing on Goan nights. The Moon House captures the essence of “susegad” living, harmonizing nature, space, and time.
