Shree Cement Q2 Net Profit Falls 15% to ₹263 Crore.

Revenue rises 23.9%, and cement sales grow 14%, while elevated fuel costs weigh on profitability.   Shree Cement reported a 15.2% year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit to ₹263 crore for Q2 FY27, compared with ₹310 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations increased 23.9% to ₹5,897 crore from ₹4,761 crore. Operating profit (EBITDA) rose 4.3% to ₹1,016 crore, although EBITDA per tonne declined amid elevated fuel prices. Cement and clinker sales volumes grew 14% to 10.52 million tonnes, while domestic sales increased 18% to 9.31 million tonnes. Premium products accounted for 28.7% of Indian trade volumes, up from 21.1% a year earlier. The company’s UAE subsidiary commissioned a new cement mill, taking its total capacity there to 7 million tonnes annually. Green power contributed 65.2% of electricity consumption during the quarter. Meanwhile, the ready-mix concrete business recorded 153% volume growth. Shree Cement expects infrastructure investment and urban development to support demand, although weak monsoons could affect rural consumption.
