Waaree Renewable Secures 800 MW Solar EPC Orders to Boost Clean Energy Portfolio.

Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd, a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Ltd, has secured two Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts for ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) projects with a combined capacity of 800 MWac (1,082 MWp). The company received two Letters of Award (LoAs) for projects comprising 400 MWac/530 MWp and 400 MWac/552 MWp, respectively. According to the company’s regulatory filing, both projects are scheduled for completion during FY 2027–28, in line with the terms of the contracts. These orders further strengthen Waaree Renewable’s position as a leading EPC player in India’s fast-growing solar energy sector and reinforce its execution capabilities for utility-scale renewable projects. The company also clarified that the contracts are not related-party transactions, and neither its promoters nor the promoter group have any interest in the awarding entity. The latest wins are expected to enhance Waaree Renewable’s project pipeline and support India’s expanding clean energy ambitions.
