Waaree Energies Arm Signs PPA with SECI for 300 MW Wind Project in Gujarat.

Waaree Energies Ltd has announced that its wholly-owned step-down subsidiary, Waaree Forever Energies Four, has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI) for a 300 MW wind power project in Dwarka. The agreement, executed on May 6, 2026, marks a significant step in expanding the company’s renewable energy portfolio. The announcement follows the company’s earlier disclosure made in February 2026 regarding the project. Waaree Energies also reported strong financial performance for Q4 FY26, with revenue rising 111.8% year-on-year to ₹8,840.25 crore and profit after tax increasing 74.76% to ₹1,126.26 crore. For the full financial year, revenue surged 84% to ₹26,536.77 crore. The company’s strong growth reflects rising demand in India’s renewable energy sector, particularly in solar and wind infrastructure development.
