Alpex Solar to Expand Capacity to 3.6 GW with New Mathura Plant.
Alpex Solar Ltd has announced the establishment of a 1.2 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, increasing its total capacity to 3.6 GW. The ₹1,110 crore project, funded through internal accruals and credit facilities, is expected to be operational by FY2026-27. This expansion follows a strong Q1FY26 performance, with consolidated net profit rising to ₹142.29 crore from ₹21.06 crore last year, revenue soaring 396% to ₹1,382.58 crore, and EBITDA jumping 1,403% to ₹164.85 crore. The company plans to raise ₹2,261.16 crore through preferential equity and warrants to fund growth, with member approval sought in an EGM on August 28, 2025. Alpex Solar’s order inflow for FY26 stands at ₹1,555.03 crore, including contracts from MSEDCL, SECI, HAREDA, CMPDIL, and other manufacturers. With six existing units across Greater Noida, Kosi-Kotwan, Eco-Tech, and Madhya Pradesh, the company aims to strengthen its position as a leading solar module and cell manufacturer in India.
