Eastman Auto and Power, under MD Shekhar Singal, is targeting ₹3,000 crore in solar revenue this year.
Aiming to scale to 34 GW capacity by FY28. Currently a leader in e-rickshaw batteries, the company is aggressively expanding in solar—especially rooftop and distributed energy solutions. It plans ₹700–1,000 crore capex over three years, funded via internal accruals. With a strong domestic and international strategy, including solar inverters, lithium storage, and limited solar panel assembly, Eastman is eyeing U.S. exports amid favorable tariff dynamics. Partnering with Chinese firms for Make-in-India exports, the firm is leveraging AI and digitization to enhance customer service and drive efficiency. Solar is set to form 40% of revenue by FY26 without diversifying from core strengths.
