Inspired by the traditional Japanese bento box, known for its clearly divided compartments that organise different elements, the collection applies the same principle of structure, organisation and functionality to contemporary bathroom design.

The Bento Starck Box is designed for demanding architectural applications, combining intelligently divided wet and dry areas with clearly structured sinks and bathtubs to provide multiple individual design possibilities.

Japanese-Inspired Approach to Bathroom Design

The design philosophy behind the Bento Starck Box draws from the organised structure of traditional Japanese bento boxes.

By creating clearly defined functional areas, the collection aims to bring greater visual order and usability to the bathroom while maintaining a distinctive contemporary aesthetic.

Generously Designed Sink Areas

The Bento Starck Box sinks feature spacious storage surfaces designed to keep personal care products and accessories within easy reach.

This approach creates an organised wash area while maintaining the collection’s clean and refined design language.

The single sinks are manufactured using Duravit’s DuraCeram® ceramic material and are available in glossy white and White Satin matt finishes.

Double washbasins are made from DuroCast®, a velvety matt mineral material.

A matching non-closable overflow valve in ceramic or DuroCast provides overflow protection while integrating harmoniously with the basin design.

The faucet is installed within the inner basin across the models, helping minimise unnecessary wet surfaces around the wash area.

Freestanding Infinity Bathtub for Spa-Like Living

The Duravit Bento Starck Box freestanding Infinity Bathtub, manufactured from acrylic, has been designed to create a spa-like experience within the bathroom.

Its generous depth provides enough space for two people, while a gently rounded shelf for the head adds comfort to the bathing experience.

A bevelled water channel runs around the bathtub, helping prevent water from remaining on surrounding surfaces while also providing space for accessories and bathing essentials.

The channel also supports easier cleaning by helping keep water and individual drops within the bathtub when the faucet is being operated.

Toilets and Bidets Complete the Collection

For bathrooms requiring a consistent visual language, Bento Starck Box toilets and bidets have been designed to complement the collection’s sinks and bathtubs.

The range is available in both wall-mounted and floor-standing versions, combining clean design with everyday functionality.

The toilets incorporate Duravit flushing technologies including Duravit Rimless® and HygieneFlush.

A two-piece toilet is also available for installation with a wall-mounted cistern.

Practical Features for Everyday Convenience

The Duravit toilet seat incorporates a soft and silent slow-close function, supporting comfortable everyday use.
