Revised plan reserves 70% of the area for sports and recreation, offering renewed hope to nearly 8,000 homebuyers.
The Noida Authority has approved the revised master layout plan for the Sports City project in Sector 150, Uttar Pradesh, following board meetings held on January 3 and April 6, 2026. The formal approval letter was issued on May 6 after public objections and suggestions were reviewed. Under the revised plan, 70% of the total area is allocated to sports, recreation, institutional facilities and open spaces, while residential development accounts for 29.5% and commercial use is restricted to 0.5%. The Sports Authority of India vetted the proposed sports facilities in its report dated June 10, 2026. Four projects developed by Brick Rise Developers, Ace Infracity Developers, Land Kart Builders and Samridhi Infra Square have received conditional occupancy certificates after clearing their outstanding dues. The developer and consortium members have also deposited 20% of the outstanding dues, with 20% of the units retained as security. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court continues to monitor compliance and homebuyers’ interests, as nearly 8,000 buyers await progress on the long-delayed project.
