UK Realty Becomes First Maharashtra Developer to Deploy AI-Powered Construction Intelligence Platform

Mumbai, India: UK Realty, a leading Mumbai-based real estate developer, has partnered with California-based Slate Technologies Inc. to deploy its AI-powered construction intelligence platform across its construction operations, becoming the first developer in Maharashtra to adopt the technology.

The AI platform will be integrated across project management, quality inspections, site monitoring, procurement optimisation, safety analytics, delay prediction and project decision-making. The initiative aims to improve planning accuracy, reduce construction delays, optimise costs, strengthen workplace safety and ensure timely project delivery.

The first phase of implementation will cover UK Realty's ongoing developments in Andheri, Jogeshwari and Kandivali, spanning nearly 20 lakh sq. ft. of development. The platform will support coordination among project teams, including technical professionals, project managers and over 1,100 on-site workers, with full AI deployment targeted by Q3 FY2026-27.

Commenting on the partnership, Devanshu Bansal, Director, UK Realty, said that the company is adopting AI not as a pilot initiative but as a core part of its construction processes to enhance planning, improve execution and deliver better-quality homes on schedule.

Prior to deployment, UK Realty and Slate Technologies conducted a baseline assessment to identify areas where AI could generate the greatest impact, including cost control, productivity improvement, waste reduction, inventory optimisation, delay mitigation and enhanced site safety. The platform will enable project teams to leverage real-time data and predictive analytics to identify risks early, allocate resources efficiently and make informed decisions throughout the construction lifecycle.
