Stake Sale Strengthens Balance Sheet, Boosts Renewable Growth Plans.

Inox Wind Sells ₹175 Cr Stake in EPC Arm at ₹7,400 Cr Valuation.

Inox Wind (IWL), a leading wind energy solutions provider, has sold a ₹175 crore stake in its EPC subsidiary, Inox Renewable Solutions (formerly Resco Global Wind Services), valuing the arm at ₹7,400 crore. The company has not disclosed the identity of the investors. This comes shortly after the National Company Law Tribunal approved the merger of Inox Wind Energy (IWEL) into IWL in June 2025, a move that cut liabilities by around ₹2,050 crore, strengthening the firm’s financials. Last year, Inox Renewable Solutions raised ₹350 crore for a minority stake from investors. The subsidiary offers end-to-end wind project services—from conceptualisation to commissioning and transmission infrastructure—positioning itself as a turnkey solutions provider across India, with a strong base in the western region. It is also developing a multi-gigawatt-scale common infrastructure for future renewable projects. On Tuesday, Inox Wind shares rose 3.18% to ₹144.40 on the BSE.
