Ceigall Enters Renewables with 337 MW Solar Project Orders from MSEDCL.

Ceigall India Limited has announced its foray into the renewable energy sector with the award of two Letters of Intent (LoIs) from MSEDCL for the procurement of 337 MW of solar power under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0. The projects will involve setting up grid-connected solar plants across multiple locations in Maharashtra through tariff-based competitive bidding. Chairman and MD Ramneek Sehgal said this milestone reflects Ceigall’s commitment to building world-class solar projects that align with India’s clean energy goals while empowering communities with reliable green power. He emphasised that this is just the beginning of Ceigall’s long-term role in the nation’s energy transition. The move marks a strategic diversification for Ceigall, traditionally known for its expertise in highways, expressways, bridges, tunnels, and runways, positioning the company as a future-ready player in India’s infrastructure and renewable energy growth story.
