ED Attaches ₹782 Crore Worth of Raheja Developers’ Properties Under PMLA.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has provisionally attached immovable properties worth ₹782.36 crore belonging to Raheja Developers under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The latest action is part of the agency’s ongoing investigation into alleged financial irregularities linked to the real estate company. With this fresh attachment, the cumulative estimated market value of properties attached in the case has reached approximately ₹2,399.65 crore. The ED has been investigating allegations involving the diversion of funds collected from homebuyers and other suspected money laundering activities. The attached assets are intended to secure proceeds of crime while the investigation and legal proceedings continue. The provisional attachment is subject to confirmation by the Adjudicating Authority under the PMLA. The case remains under investigation, with the ED continuing to trace and attach assets allegedly linked to the proceeds of crime.
