Eka Mobility, a Pune-based electric vehicle manufacturer, is raising ₹200–300 crore from Enam Holdings to support its expansion plans.
The deal, structured as a convertible instrument, could potentially push the company toward near-unicorn status if it meets certain performance targets. Previously, Eka Mobility had secured ₹1,000 crore in funding from promoters Sudhir Mehta-led Pinnacle Industries, along with strategic investments from Japan’s Mitsui & Co and the Netherlands-based VDL Groep. Specializing in electric buses and light commercial vehicles, Eka aims to ramp up production and scale operations as demand for sustainable transport solutions grows across India.
