Developer to enter luxury hospitality alongside major riverside housing projects.

Eden Realty Group Unveils ₹5,000 Crore Expansion Plan Across West Bengal by 2030

Eden Realty Group has announced an ambitious investment plan of ₹5,000 crore by 2030 to develop residential, commercial, and hospitality projects along both banks of the Hooghly river in West Bengal. The expansion includes a premium riverside residential project in Shalimar, Howrah, and the group’s first foray into the hospitality sector with five luxury hotels comprising nearly 600 rooms. According to Managing Director Arya Sumant, the hospitality projects will be developed on land leased from Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, with discussions underway with leading Indian and international hotel operators. The first hotel, an 80-key property on a 2.3-acre plot, will involve an investment of around ₹150 crore. A larger 300-key hotel is planned at Garden Reach with an outlay of ₹450 crore. Joint MD Kumar Satyaki said additional hotels will come up at Raichak and Budge Budge, along with a hotel-cum-commercial project on Strand Road. The Shalimar residential project will feature over 1,000 homes across five towers, with an estimated investment of ₹2,000 crore.
