Banjara Hills Property Owners Hit by 22-A Prohibited List.

Clear Titles Deserve Clear Records—Fix 22-A Listings, Restore Property Confidence.

Several housing societies and colonies in Hyderabad’s Banjara Hills are facing major property transaction hurdles after being included in the government’s 22-A prohibited properties list. The move has reportedly halted sales, registrations and other property transactions, leaving residents and developers concerned. Properties in areas including Stone Valley Apartments, Godavari, Radhika and Yamuna Nagar, along with parts of MLA Colony, have reportedly been affected. In some cases, properties constructed decades ago have been classified as ceiling land despite residents holding ownership and land-clearance documents. The president of Stone Valley Apartments has urged authorities to remove the society from the prohibited list, citing valid Urban Land Ceiling clearance and clear titles. Developers and property owners have called for immediate verification and correction of what they describe as clerical or administrative errors. Industry representatives have warned that protecting government land should not come at the cost of legitimate property owners and public confidence.
