Tribunal orders DLF and DTCP to submit approved plans, advertised drawings, and occupation certificate for verification.
HREAT Seeks Approved Drawings in DLF Panchkula Flat Dispute.
The Haryana Real Estate Appellate Tribunal (HREAT) has directed DLF Homes Developers and the Haryana Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) to submit the approved project drawings, advertised layouts, and the occupation certificate for its Valley Gardens project in Panchkula. The order follows a homebuyer's appeal alleging that DLF calculated the apartment price using areas beyond the RERA-defined carpet area, which excludes balconies, terraces, external walls, and service shafts. The tribunal noted concerns over the DWG AutoCAD drawings provided to the buyer and sought the original approved documents in a sealed cover for verification. DLF has denied the allegations, stating that the pricing complies with the buyer agreement. The tribunal exercised its powers under Section 44(6) of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, with the next hearing scheduled for August 27.
