From Airports to AI: PM Modi’s Power-Packed Two-Day Visit to Maharashtra.                                                                                                                                    

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will embark on a two-day visit to Maharashtra on October 8–9, unveiling major infrastructure and innovation projects. On October 8, he will inaugurate Phase 1 of the ₹19,650 crore Navi Mumbai International Airport — India’s largest greenfield airport under the PPP model — designed for 90 million passengers annually with sustainability features like solar power, EV transport, and SAF facilities. He will also inaugurate Mumbai Metro Line-3 (Aqua Line), a ₹37,270 crore underground corridor connecting Aarey to Cuffe Parade, expected to serve 13 lakh commuters daily. Additionally, Modi will launch “Mumbai One,” India’s first integrated transport app, and roll out the STEP programme to enhance employability across 400 ITIs with courses in AI, EVs, and solar technology. On October 9, he will host UK PM Sir Keir Starmer in Mumbai and co-address the Global Fintech Fest 2025, highlighting India’s growing leadership in innovation and digital finance.
