The Uttar Pradesh government will hold a mega e-auction for 144 industrial plots across 16 districts, aiming to boost the state’s transformation into ‘Udyam Pradesh’.
Directed by CM Yogi Adityanath, the move ensures transparent, fair, and time-bound land allotment for entrepreneurs. The Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) will oversee the auction, offering plots ranging from 300 to 13,197 sq.m. Key districts include Amethi (33 plots), Mathura, Mainpuri, Kanpur, and Varanasi. The smallest plot (300 sq.m.) in IIDC Banthra is ideal for leather units, while the largest (13,197 sq.m.) in Kanpur suits general industrial use. Applications close on July 5, with the e-auction scheduled for July 11. Applicants must complete payments for catalogue, processing fees, and EMD by July 4. A 5,097.10 sq.m. plot in Baghpat has been reserved for a mega project under UPIIEPP-2022. More details are available on the UPSIDA and Nivesh Mitra portals.
