The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has mandated.

That all housing advertisements must prominently display the MahaRERA registration number, website address, and project-specific QR code in a font size equal to or larger than the contact details. These elements must appear in clearly visible colours in the top-right quadrant. Issued on April 8, this directive applies to all forms of media. Violators face fines up to ₹50,000, with further action if non-compliance continues. The move aims to enhance transparency and protect homebuyers, addressing complaints of illegible or hidden registration details. As of now, Maharashtra has 49,779 registered projects and 50,105 agents under MahaRERA.
