Tata Realty’s Intellion Park Chennai Becomes India’s Largest WELL Core Platinum Certified Campus

Tata Realty & Infrastructure Limited (TRIL) has announced that Intellion Park Chennai, formerly known as Ramanujan IT Park, has achieved WELL Core Platinum Certification across all its buildings from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). With this milestone, Intellion Park Chennai has become India’s largest WELL Core Platinum Certified campus and ranks among the largest workplace campuses globally to achieve certification at such a scale.

The WELL Core Platinum certification assesses workplace environments across ten critical parameters linked to occupant health, well-being and productivity, including air quality, lighting, thermal comfort, acoustics, movement, nourishment and community engagement. The achievement reflects the campus's commitment to creating healthier, more productive and sustainable workplace environments.

Adding to its sustainability credentials, Intellion Park Chennai is also recognized as India’s first IFC EDGE Zero Carbon-certified development, making it one of the country's most environmentally advanced commercial office campuses.

Speaking on the achievement, Sanjay Dutt, Managing Director & CEO, Tata Realty & Infrastructure Limited, highlighted the growing importance of sustainable development amid climate change and evolving workplace expectations. He stated that the certification demonstrates Tata Realty’s commitment to developing healthier, resilient and future-ready workspaces aligned with global ESG and wellness standards.

The milestone comes at a time when India continues to attract Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and multinational corporations seeking office environments that meet international sustainability benchmarks. Certified workplaces are increasingly becoming a key requirement for organizations focused on employee well-being, environmental responsibility and governance standards.

Ritesh Sachdev, Senior Vice President & Head – Commercial Leasing, Tata Realty, noted that global occupiers increasingly view certified infrastructure as a necessity rather than an option. He emphasized that Intellion Park Chennai provides tenants with a workplace environment that supports productivity while meeting international wellness and ESG requirements.

Tata Realty continues to expand its commercial real estate portfolio under the Intellion brand, which currently includes over 9.4 million sq. ft. of developed office space and 10.2 million sq. ft. under development across key Indian cities. The company plans to increase its commercial office portfolio to 27 million sq. ft. by 2030.

With over 102 tenants, including several Fortune 500 companies and multinational corporations, Intellion office parks are designed to integrate sustainability, wellness and operational excellence. The campuses also offer wellness facilities, fitness centres, entertainment spaces, art installations and curated dining experiences to create vibrant workplace ecosystems.

The achievement reinforces Tata Realty’s leadership in sustainable commercial real estate development and sets a new benchmark for environmentally responsible and employee-centric office infrastructure in India.
