Jharkhand to Showcase Energy Transition Model at Davos, UK Events.

The Jharkhand government will present its energy transition model at global forums during an overseas visit by a state delegation led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren to Davos and the United Kingdom, according to an official statement. Soren will attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting in Davos later this month before travelling to the UK to strengthen international partnerships. At Davos, Jharkhand will engage with global energy leaders, investors, technology providers and policy institutions to highlight opportunities in renewable energy, grid modernisation, energy storage, clean fuels and industrial decarbonisation. The state’s transition strategy focuses on responsible diversification, combining its traditional energy strengths with accelerated investments in solar power and emerging clean technologies. Anchored in the philosophy of “Growth in Harmony with Nature,” the model emphasises a just and inclusive transition, prioritising worker reskilling and community participation. Jharkhand will also underline its strategic role in critical minerals for clean energy. After Davos, discussions in the UK will explore clean energy finance, technology transfer and capacity building.
