Brigade Group Expands Chennai Footprint with 7-Acre Mixed-Use Development on OMR

Bengaluru-based Brigade Group has signed a long-term lease agreement to develop a 7-acre prime land parcel on Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR), Chennai. The project will feature over 1 million sq ft of Grade A office space and a 225-key 5-star deluxe hotel, marking a significant addition to Chennai’s IT and commercial hub in the Tharamani-OMR belt. This corridor is home to global tech giants, educational institutions, hospitals, and vibrant residential communities, making the project a high-value destination. Pradyumna Krishna Kumar, Executive Director of Brigade Enterprises, said the development aligns with the company’s long-term growth strategy to strengthen its presence in Chennai. This project follows Brigade’s recent investments in the city, including a ₹2,100 crore residential project in South Chennai and a ₹1,600 crore development in Velachery, showcasing its strong commitment to Chennai’s real estate landscape.
