Reclaiming Legacy, Strengthening Presence.

Raheja Universal Buys Back Raheja Centre-Point for ₹211 Crore.

Realty developer Raheja Universal has reacquired its former corporate headquarters, Raheja Centre-Point, for ₹211 crore, marking a significant portfolio consolidation move. Located on CST Road near Mumbai’s prime business district, Bandra-Kurla Complex, the five-storey commercial building was originally developed by Raheja Universal in 2004 and served as its headquarters for 16 years. In 2020, the property was sold to HDFC as part of a portfolio realignment strategy. Following HDFC’s merger with HDFC Bank, the asset was put up for sale, where Raheja Universal successfully bid to regain ownership. The latest agreement was registered on 9th September 2025, with a stamp duty of ₹12.66 crore paid. The reacquisition underscores a broader industry trend of developers expanding their exposure to income-generating office assets, even as the residential sector dominates new launches. For Raheja Universal, this buyback not only revives a landmark corporate address but also reinforces its strategic presence in Mumbai’s commercial real estate landscape.
