Raidurg Land Value Soars as Telangana Earns ₹10,000 Crore.

Record ₹264 Crore Per Acre Highlights Hyderabad’s Booming IT-Driven Real Estate Market

Hyderabad Knowledge City, developed across the 420-acre Raidurg Panmaktha government land tract, has emerged as one of Telangana’s biggest revenue generators, contributing more than ₹10,000 crore to the state exchequer over the past two decades. Nearly ₹8,000 crore of this amount has been generated in just the last two-and-a-half years through high-value land auctions. The latest auction saw one acre of Raidurg land fetch a record ₹264 crore, highlighting the area’s rising real estate demand. Between January 2024 and 2026, TGIIC earned nearly ₹7,000 crore by auctioning 40 acres, with average realisation reaching ₹179 crore per acre. Officials attributed the surge to Hyderabad’s rapid IT and commercial expansion, strong bidder competition and transparent auction mechanisms. With demand continuing to rise, Raidurg is strengthening its position as one of Hyderabad’s most valuable commercial and real estate destinations.
