Project to aid decarbonisation as Suzlon strengthens PSU footprint and state leadership.

Suzlon Wins 100 MW Wind Power Order from GAIL in Maharashtra.

Suzlon Group has secured a 100 MW wind energy order from GAIL, reinforcing its growing presence in the public sector segment. The project will be developed in Nandurbar and will supply clean power to GAIL’s upcoming petrochemical plant, supporting its decarbonisation goals. Under the contract, Suzlon will supply 47 S120 wind turbine generators, each with a rated capacity of 2.1 MW, and execute the project on a turnkey basis, including installation, commissioning, and long-term operations and maintenance. This marks Suzlon’s sixth order from GAIL and its first collaboration with the PSU in Maharashtra, following earlier projects in Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. The order is Suzlon’s fourth PSU win this financial year after contracts from NTPC Limited, BPCL, and Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. With PSUs and C&I customers forming over 64% of its order book, Suzlon continues to consolidate its leadership in Maharashtra’s wind market.
