Jakson Green and Blueleaf Energy Secure Funding for 840 MW Solar Projects in Rajasthan. 

Jakson Green and Blueleaf Energy, a Macquarie Asset Management-backed renewable platform, have achieved financial closure for their 840 MW solar projects in Bikaner, Rajasthan, marking the completion of funding for their 1 GW Rajasthan solar portfolio. The financing, secured through Axis Bank, covers two ground-mounted projects — 280 MW (SECI) and 560 MW (NHPC) — which are now ready for construction. The portfolio also includes the 140 MW Bhawad solar project, already under construction and slated for commissioning this year. Once operational, the Bikaner projects will generate enough clean power to energise over 1.5 million Indian homes, significantly advancing India’s renewable energy ambitions. Jakson Green Vice Chairman & CEO Bikesh Ogra hailed the milestone as a testament to their commitment to India’s energy transition, while Blueleaf Energy’s Pratyush Thakur emphasised their mission to contribute 5 GW of renewable capacity by 2030.
