Powering Progress — Clean Energy Takes a Stronger Spin in Gujarat.

ACME Solar Commissions First Phase of 100 MW Wind Project in Gujarat.

ACME Solar Holdings has successfully commissioned the 28 MW first phase of its 100 MW wind power project in Surendranagar, Gujarat, under the banner of ACME Eco Clean. With this milestone, ACME’s total operational capacity has risen from 2,890 MW to 2,918 MW, reinforcing its position as one of India’s leading renewable energy players. The project, financed by the Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and executed through in-house EPC, features a robust infrastructure where clean power is pooled at a 33/220 kV station and transmitted via a dedicated 220 kV line to the Shapar sub-station — shared with ACME’s existing 50 MW wind project. Electricity generated under the project will be supplied through a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL), advancing India’s renewable energy goals and supporting the nation’s transition toward sustainable, low-carbon power generation.
