Powering India’s future — solar made in Madhya Pradesh.
Jakson Group to Invest ₹8,000+ Crore in 6-GW Integrated Solar Manufacturing Plant in MP.
Jakson Engineers, a subsidiary of Jakson Group, will invest over ₹8,000 crore to establish a 6-GW fully integrated solar manufacturing plant at Maksi Phase-II, Madhya Pradesh — the largest solar investment in the state. Spread across 110 acres, the project will be developed in two phases. Phase I will include 3 GW solar modules and 3 GW solar cell capacity with an investment of ₹2,000 crore, while Phase II will add a 6 GW solar wafer facility along with an additional 3 GW modules and 3 GW cells, requiring ₹6,000 crore. The first modules are expected by May 2026, with cells rolling out in September 2026. Vice-Chairman Sundeep Gupta said the project aligns with the Make in India mission and India’s clean energy targets, creating over 2,400 jobs. With its integrated “four-in-one” model — manufacturing, development, EPC, and O&M — Jakson aims to strengthen India’s energy security and global solar leadership.
