Premier Energies Commissions 5.6 GW Solar Module Plant in Telangana.
Premier Energies, an integrated renewable energy manufacturer, has commissioned a 5.6 GW solar module manufacturing facility at Seetharampur in Telangana, with trial production currently underway. With this addition, the company’s total solar module manufacturing capacity has increased to 11.1 GW. Spread across 75 acres, the new facility is expected to generate around 2,000 direct and indirect jobs, supporting regional industrial growth. The plant features fully automated production lines capable of manufacturing advanced G12R TOPCon solar modules at a rate of four modules every 16 seconds. Managing Director Chiranjeev Saluja said the expansion positions the company to deliver high-efficiency solar solutions at scale and support India’s clean energy transition. Chief Strategy Officer Sudhir Reddy added that investments in advanced technologies will enhance supply chain resilience and meet rising global demand for efficient and reliable solar modules.
