30-acre township designed around Air Quality Index (AQI), wellness, and sustainability, setting a new benchmark for real estate in India

Indore, 30 September 2025 – Micro Mitti, Bharat’s first proptech real estate co-investment company, has announced the launch of India’s first Healthy Homes Community – Madhuvan Township, a 30-acre project designed with a focus on Air Quality Index (AQI), wellness, and sustainability.

The unveiling of Madhuvan comes as India faces growing air pollution challenges. According to the AQLI 2025 Report by the University of Chicago, all 1.4 billion Indians live in regions exceeding WHO’s safe PM₂.₅ limits. Tier-II cities like Lucknow also face severe AQI spikes, especially during festive seasons.

Madhuvan Township, planned by renowned architect Sanjay Puri, features two-side open plots averaging 1,250 sq. ft. designed to feel like spacious 2,400 sq. ft. homes. Nearly 55% of the area is dedicated to green open spaces, with tree belts and layered greenery enhancing air quality and reducing pollution.

Each design element—from native tree plantations and shaded walkways to murram pathways and natural wind corridors—serves a purpose: improving air circulation, reducing dust, and cooling the microclimate. This approach promotes biodiversity and fosters a healthier, breathable environment.

Located strategically behind Sheraton Hotel on the proposed RE3 bypass, the township will house 465 families. The Madhuvan Clubhouse, designed by Sanjay Puri, has already won the World Architecture Award, reinforcing Indore’s position as India’s hub for sustainable, health-conscious living.
