Reliance Seals $3 Billion Green Ammonia Deal with Samsung C&T.
Reliance Industries Limited has signed a landmark $3 billion agreement to supply green ammonia to Samsung C&T Corporation, marking one of the world’s largest long-term deals in the green fuels sector. The 15-year Supply and Purchase Agreement will commence in the second half of FY2029, reinforcing India’s position in the global clean energy market. The deal aligns with India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission, aimed at making the country a hub for green hydrogen and its derivatives. Led by Anant Ambani, Reliance is building an integrated new energy ecosystem, including renewable power, energy storage, hydrogen production, and green fuel manufacturing. This partnership highlights growing global demand for sustainable fuels and strengthens India’s push toward energy transition, export growth, and leadership in the emerging green hydrogen economy.
