Luxury Redefined: Where India’s Ultra-Rich Choose to Live.
Sukhpal Ahluwalia Buys ₹100-Crore Luxury Apartment in DLF’s The Camellias, Gurugram.
British businessman Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia has purchased a sprawling 11,416 sq ft apartment in DLF’s ultra-luxury project, The Camellias, Gurugram, for ₹100 crore. This marks the third such ₹100-crore transaction in the premium residential complex, which has become a hub for India’s ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs).
Ahluwalia, who sold his company Euro Car Parts and now runs Dominvs Group in London, confirmed the deal, adding that he opted for a gated condominium instead of a farmhouse for security and convenience during his visits to India.
Located on Gurugram’s Golf Course Road, The Camellias has consistently set benchmarks in India’s luxury housing market, with recent deals crossing ₹120,000 per sq ft. Prominent residents include BoAt’s Aman Gupta and Aakash Institute’s JC Chaudhry.
Experts note a post-pandemic surge in demand for gated luxury residences, as UHNIs prefer community living with world-class amenities over standalone bungalows.
