EAAA Alternatives to Invest ₹40,000 Crore in Clean Energy Projects Over Five Years.
EAAA Alternatives plans to invest up to ₹400 billion (₹40,000 crore) in India’s clean energy sector over the next four to five years, targeting around 8 GW of renewable energy projects through its funds. The firm recently secured a $60 million commitment from the European Investment Bank for its India Energy Transition Fund, which aims to raise $300 million by year-end, with potential expansion to $500 million. The fund has already mobilised $170 million from Indian family offices and will focus on renewable generation, clean infrastructure, and decarbonisation ventures, said CEO Subahoo Chordia. India’s clean energy ambitions—to double non-fossil fuel capacity to 500 GW by 2030—align closely with this investment strategy. EAAA Alternatives currently manages $7.3 billion in assets as of June 2025.
