“Fueling India’s Clean Energy Future – One Solar Cell at a Time”
GREW Solar Secures ₹300 Crore to Power Expansion, Build 3 GW Cell Plant in MP.
GREW Solar, part of the Chiripal Group, has raised ₹300 crore from investors including Vijay Kedia and Rohit Kothari of GeeCee Holdings to accelerate its next growth phase. The funds will be used to develop new solar products, strengthen technology infrastructure, and expand manufacturing capacity. GREW Solar, which commissioned a 1.2 GW PV module plant at Dudu, Rajasthan in its first year, has since scaled to 3 GW capacity, producing high-efficiency M10 TOPCon modules up to 590 Wp. It is now expanding its Dudu facility to 11 GW, making it one of India’s largest AI-powered integrated solar PV plants with in-house R&D. The company also plans to establish a 3 GW solar PV cell plant in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, scaling to 8 GW by 2026, enabling backwards integration. Investors cited GREW Solar’s vision, integrity, and execution strength as key drivers, positioning it as a leader in advancing India’s renewable energy ambitions.
