Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Friday said the state is rapidly emerging as a leader in tourism, mining, solar, and wind energy, with vast potential across sectors. Speaking at the AI Innovation Summit 2025, organised by ICAI, he highlighted the government’s initiatives to boost investment and infrastructure. Through the Rising Rajasthan Summit, the state signed MoUs worth ₹35 lakh crore, while major water projects like the Ramjal Setu Link, Yamuna Water Agreement, Dewas Project, Indira Gandhi Canal, Gang Canal, and Mahi Dam are strengthening resource availability. Sharma announced targets of 10 lakh jobs over five years, along with daytime electricity for farmers by 2027. He praised chartered accountants as the “soul of the economy” and stressed AI’s role in governance. Rajasthan, he said, is formulating a new AI & Machine Learning policy, aligning with the Digital India and India AI Mission for future-ready growth.
