“Deadline intensifies, but allottees demand fair relief before action.”

YEIDA Issues 10-Day Ultimatum to 366 Allottees; Entrepreneurs Seek Relief Over Pending Zero-Period Cases.

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has issued a strict 10-day deadline to 366 industrial plot allottees to complete their lease deed execution or face cancellation. Despite receiving checklists months ago, many allottees did not proceed with the registry, causing significant delays in possession and slowing industrial development across Yamuna City. YEIDA has uploaded the names of allottees who missed the earlier 60-day deadline and initiated cancellation proceedings. However, the move has raised concern among entrepreneurs, especially those waiting for possession since 2013. The Yamuna Expressway Entrepreneurs Association (YEEA) has urged YEIDA to halt cancellations for cases where zero-period exemption applications—related to delays caused by the Authority itself—remain pending. The association has also requested a 90-day penalty-free extension once decisions are communicated. With major projects like Noida International Airport advancing, YEIDA is under pressure to activate idle industrial land.
