Bajel Projects Bags ₹400-Crore 500 kV Transmission Line Orders in MENA

Bajel Projects has secured two international engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts worth over ₹400 crore for the development of contiguous sections of 500 kV overhead transmission lines in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The twin orders mark a significant milestone in the company’s strategy to strengthen its international power transmission business and expand its footprint in global high-voltage infrastructure markets. The projects involve the construction of critical transmission corridors designed to support regional grid expansion and energy transmission reliability.

Commenting on the development, Rajesh Ganesh said the new contracts reinforce Bajel Projects’ growing presence in the MENA region and reflect rising international confidence in the company’s engineering capabilities, execution strength, and commitment to quality and safety standards.

He added that being entrusted with the execution of a 500 kV transmission corridor highlights the company’s ability to handle complex, large-scale, high-voltage infrastructure projects in overseas markets.

The latest contracts build on Bajel Projects’ expanding regional presence and align with its long-term strategy to diversify revenue streams through international EPC opportunities. With increasing demand for grid modernisation and energy infrastructure upgrades across the MENA region, the company is positioning itself as a competitive player in the global transmission sector.

These wins are expected to strengthen Bajel Projects’ order book and enhance its standing in the global power infrastructure market, particularly in high-capacity transmission solutions.
