Antara Senior Care Receives Occupancy Certificate for Noida Sector 150 Community, 340 Families to Get Possession
New Delhi, India: Contend Builders Private Limited, a Joint Venture Company of Antara Senior Living Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Max India Limited, has received a partial Occupancy Certificate (OC) for its senior living community in Sector 150, Noida.
The Occupancy Certificate covers three residential towers comprising 340 units under Phase I of the project, paving the way for 340 senior families to take possession of their homes.
Commenting on the development, Rajit Mehta, Managing Director and CEO of Antara Senior Care, said, "This is a very welcome step by the Noida authorities. We would like to thank the authorities for granting this approval and the Hon'ble Supreme Court for supporting our requests. The residents are all seniors who have booked units at Antara Noida with great interest and expectations. Our team is actively reviewing the conditions laid down in the Occupancy Certificate, and we expect to start the process of granting possession to residents very soon."
The Occupancy Certificate unlocks approximately ₹150 crore in receivables that were contingent upon possession. The overall development spans approximately 12 lakh square feet (1.11 lakh square metres). Phase I accounts for approximately 7.45 lakh square feet (0.69 lakh square metres), while Phase II comprises approximately 4.55 lakh square feet (0.42 lakh square metres).
Phase I is expected to generate revenue of approximately ₹550 crore, while Phase II is projected to contribute around ₹800 crore. With Phase I moving toward possession, the company plans to actively pursue the revalidation of approvals required for Phase II.
The project had faced delays due to a sector-wide requirement related to the collective completion of shared sports infrastructure across Sector 150, Noida. The company had already completed its designated contribution to the sports facilities and fulfilled all payment obligations.
To facilitate timely possession for residents, the company approached the Noida Authority and subsequently various courts, including the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, asserting that all obligations had been fully discharged and requesting issuance of the Occupancy Certificate without further delay. The partial Occupancy Certificate has now been granted based on the company's demonstrated compliance.
Antara Noida Sector 150 has been designed specifically for seniors seeking an independent and active lifestyle. The community offers fully finished senior-friendly residences integrated with wellness services, round-the-clock medical assistance, emergency support, and community-focused living spaces that promote dignity, comfort, and active ageing.
