Indofast Energy, GLIDA Partner to Expand EV Battery-Swapping Network Across India.

Indofast Energy has partnered with EV charging infrastructure company GLIDA to expand its battery-swapping network by co-locating swapping stations at GLIDA's charging sites across India. The collaboration aims to establish 50 integrated EV energy hubs featuring more than 100 battery-swapping stations over the next 12 months. The rollout will begin with 10 quick battery interchange stations in Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. By combining EV charging and battery-swapping services at a single location, the partnership will provide seamless energy solutions for multiple vehicle categories. The initiative is expected to significantly benefit delivery riders and commercial fleet operators by reducing charging time, increasing vehicle uptime, and improving operational efficiency. Leveraging GLIDA's pan-India charging network, Indofast Energy will accelerate the expansion of its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) ecosystem, supporting India's growing electric mobility sector with faster, more accessible, and future-ready energy infrastructure.
