Waaree Energies has received board approval to acquire Kamath Transformers Private Ltd for ₹293 crore as part of its business expansion strategy.

Kamath Transformers specializes in manufacturing transformers, and the acquisition will strengthen Waaree's position in the energy infrastructure segment. Additionally, Waaree Forever Energies, a wholly owned subsidiary, will acquire Green New Delhi Forever Energy Private Limited at ₹1 lakh per share (face value ₹10). Both acquisitions are expected to be completed in FY26 through all-cash transactions. These moves reflect Waaree Energies' focus on vertical integration and diversification within the energy sector to support future growth and operational efficiency across solar and allied power segments.
