Under the Telangana Clean and Green Energy Policy 2025, the state secured ₹29,000 crore in renewable energy investments.
Ecoren Energy will invest ₹27,000 crore in wind-solar hybrid, floating, and ground-mounted solar projects across Sangareddy, Narayanpet, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, and Jogulamba Gadwal, generating 16,200 jobs and reducing 400 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions over 25 years. GPSR Arya will invest ₹2,000 crore in 15 compressed biogas (CBG) plants in partnership with IOC and BPCL, using agro waste and paddy straw. These projects are expected to create 3,000 jobs and mitigate 17.24 lakh MT of greenhouse gas emissions annually. MoUs were signed with TGREDCO in the presence of Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka.
