Prologis to Invest $1 Billion in India’s Logistics Real
Global logistics giant Prologis plans to invest $1 billion in India over the next five-seven years, doubling its earlier commitment. It aims to develop 6 million sq ft of warehousing space across five major cities—Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, and Chennai. The company has already acquired 300 acres in Bengaluru and Chennai for $300 million. Prologis is also eyeing India's emerging data centre market, leveraging its global expertise. With India’s booming logistics and warehousing sector, driven by infrastructure growth and regulatory reforms, Prologis sees immense expansion opportunities.
