Powering India’s green future with stronger performance.
SECI Net Profit Up 15% to ₹502 Crore in FY25 on Strong Revenue Growth.
State-owned Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) reported a 15% rise in net profit to ₹501.92 crore for FY2024-25, driven by robust operational performance. Revenue from operations grew to ₹15,185.10 crore, up from ₹13,035.07 crore in the previous year. SECI Chairman & MD (Additional Charge) and MNRE Secretary, Santosh Kumar Sarangi, said surpassing ₹15,000 crore in revenue and ₹500 crore in profit marks a significant milestone in the corporation’s financial roadmap. The growth reflects SECI’s expanding role in power trading, project execution, and implementation of government schemes, alongside its focus on emerging clean energy sectors such as energy storage, green hydrogen, and offshore wind. With Navratna status and a strong project pipeline, SECI continues to be a key driver in India’s renewable energy transition and a critical enabler of the nation’s clean energy ambitions.
