Noida authorities have sealed the offices of 12 developers, including Antariksh Engineers, Elegant Infracon, and Uttam Steels, for failing to clear dues exceeding Rs 175 crore.

Despite multiple recovery notices from UP-Rera, the builders did not respond, prompting enforcement action. Notable defaulters include Uttam Steels (Rs 57 crore), Rudra Buildwell Homes (Rs 38 crore), and Ansal Hitech Township (Rs 26 crore). The district administration, led by SDM Anuj Nehra, has warned of further actions if dues are not settled. The recovery process faces challenges, especially for builders based in Delhi, due to jurisdictional issues and lack of cooperation, resulting in a low recovery rate despite over 2,700 pending RCs.
