Fellowes, an Itasca, Ill.-based manufacturing company, offers Fellowes Array: an integrated network of air purifiers, sensors and monitoring systems to create quiet, healthy air in a variety of spaces. A scalable solution, the system is compatible with retrofits and renovations, as it requires no connection to duct work. Sensors in the purifier measure environmental conditions and speed up or slow down as needed to reserve building energy. The system’s mixed-flow fan reduces strain on existing HVAC systems. LEED-compliant, the system’s energy consumption is as low as 105.12 kWh annually.
