Indian firm Revayu Energy has launched operations in Doha, Qatar, aiming to achieve 100 MW of solar capacity in the Middle East over the next two years.

Partnering with O Solar, the company has completed a pilot project for Kahramaa, Qatar’s state utility. With Qatar targeting 4 GW of solar power by 2030—up from the current 5% solar usage to 20%—Revayu sees strong growth potential. Qatar offers ideal solar conditions with 9.5 hours of daily sunshine, low cloud cover, and a global horizontal irradiance of 2,140 kWh/m²/year. Backed by government support and rapid tech advancements, the region is emerging as a hub for renewable energy, attracting global and regional players focused on sustainable infrastructure development.
